I\\\\\\\'m a fun loving person, and really do enjoy cooking for people, so don\\\\\\\'t be shy asking questions or chatting me up during dinner! I teach classes every so often around Boston, so I like showing people new things and talking about what I\\\\\\\'m doing. I\\\\\\\'m a big nerd, and am extremely obsessed with my awesome dog named Waffles.

I\\\\\\\'ve worked with multiple James Beard winning chefs, opened a few restaurants, and written menus for anything from someone\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s date night in a restaurant, to high class wine dinners in multi- million dollar homes, and now I just want to put those skills to use for people in their own home, and give them a great meal.


I do tend to work quite a bit, I will list my days of definite availability, but I can always work with you for a specific date, so let me know in advance and chances are I can work something out.

Chef Matt Cunningham's Specialties

I focus on creative yet accessible food - I use a little of various asian influences, but primarily I focus on fermentation, aging, preserving in any form, with more of rustic/new england feel. I\\\\\\\'m pretty comfortable with almost any cuisine as I\\\\\\\'ve been fortunate enough to have a wide variety of experience, and I can easily work with any restrictions you may have!


I\\\\\\\'ve also spent time as a baker, so any breads or pastries I use will be made by myself - it\\\\\\\'s something I really enjoy as well, so don\\\\\\\'t be afraid to ask for something fun.

I have a lot of fun making food, and think people should have a lot of fun eating it.

    Chef was so enthusiastic and accomodating for this event, that half way through the first conversation I decided to hire him for the event. Then on the day of the event we were not disappointed either! The food tasted good, he came well prepared, interacted with the guests, explained the food well that he was serving, and tidied up every inch before leaving. It was a fun and pleasant experience. Would love to do it again. Thank you Matt and your finacee!

    Matt is fantastic!  Working with a lot of food intolerances and in an airbnb kitchen that was far from perfect, he blew our minds with the deliciousness.

    Matt was an absolute pleasure. From our first communication he was friendly and accommodating and had great ideas. When the party started he came in with his crew and completely blew all of us away with his menu. It\'s been a year since the party and everyone who was there is literally still talking about it. 

    Great guy, great food. Call him up.
